Music has always been at its most powerful when it brings people together. Before the stadiums, the festivals, and the sold-out tours, artists first share their stories, experiment with their sound, and build genuine connections with us; 808-Live exists to bring back these iconic moments.
Created by Young Future Co., 808-Live is the live music experience dedicated to discovering, supporting, and celebrating emerging artists.Audiences aren’t just watching a performance, they are part of it!
The name 808 pays homage to the legendary Roland TR-808 drum machine, an instrument that changed the course of modern music. Its unmistakable sound became the heartbeat of hip-hop, R&B, electronic music, Afrobeats, UK Garage, and countless other genres, influencing generations of artists and producers.
To us, the 808 represents far more than a drum machine. It symbolises rhythm, creativity, innovation, and cultural influence. It is the pulse that connects artists, audiences, and communities, making it the perfect foundation for our platform built around discovering the next generation of talent.
808-Live was created with a clear purpose: to bridge the gap between raw talent and meaningful opportunity.
We believe emerging artists deserve more than just another stage. They deserve an environment where they can develop their craft, grow their audience, build industry relationships, and receive fair recognition for their work.
At the same time, we believe audiences deserve authentic live music experiences that feel genuine, personal, and unforgettable. Every event is designed to create moments that cannot be replicated through a screen—bringing people closer to the music and the stories behind it.
